CHATHAM, ONT. – A 16-year-old Ontario boy was given a stern warning by police for posting an online ad that offered two children for sale.
Chatham-Kent police said the ad included photos and stated that the kids had to be gone in a week or they’d be put on the streets.
A concerned citizen called police at about 9:30 p.m., Thursday night.
Pic unrelated.
Police tracked down the teen, who admitted to posting it as a joke.
Investigators confirmed no children were at risk and he was warned about his actions.
Chatham is about 75 km east of Windsor, Ont.

While browsing Kijiji.ca, I see this crap and get angry:
One Laptop per Child Mission:
We aim to provide each child with a rugged, low-cost, low-power, connected laptop. To this end, we have designed hardware, content and software for collaborative, joyful, and self-empowered learning. With access to this type of tool, children are engaged in their own education, and learn, share, and create together. They become connected to each other, to the world and to a brighter future.
I see so many posting on Kijiji asking for laptops/PCs for kids in school, why the seller didn’t have the consideration to at least give it to one of them is beyond me. Profiting from such an important project really makes me angry.
